NEWS FOR FEBRUARY 2009

STILL SOME AVAILABILITY FOR RESTING RACEHORSES OR THOSE IN NEED OF RECUPERATION. Please call Jo Kerner for further details.

Although the snow is very pretty to look at when it first arrives, it does make working with any animals very difficult. Jo and her staff worked tirelessly to keep the yard free of snow and ice to ensure the horses were safe.

Jo Kerner had installed an indoor horse walker shortly after the recuperation centre opened. This has paid dividends as irrespective of what the weather is doing outside all the horses requiring exercising can be walked from the barn, still inside to the indoor horse walker.

Bay Hawk using the horsewalker whilst there is about 8 inches of snow on the ground outside!
