NEW AND RESULTS FOR MARCH 2009

Update

Lily and Dylan finding all the excitement going on in the vet's box a bit too much for them.....

16th March 2009

TWO HORSES READY TO LEAVE THE RECUPERATION CENTRE!

Colloquial waiting patiently in the vet's box for the mobile scanner to be switched on.

Simon Knapp scans Bay Hawks legs

Sue Sinclair and Simon Knapp study the scan results of Colloquial on the mobile scanner.

Two of the racehorses under Jo's care were scanned today and both of them got the thumbs up from top vet, Simon Knapp.

Simon has always been very complimentary about Jo and the way she cares for the horses in her care and has confessed that he is recommending her Recuperation Centre to any owners looking for a place for their horses to recuperate after illness or injury.

Thanks, Simon.

After the recent horrendous weather it was nice to see the sun out for a few days which is allowing the paddocks to dry out.

All the horses that are able to go out, are enjoying themselves.

The thoroughbred, ART SERIES is due to foal on March the 17th and is showing all the signs of the foal arriving about that date.

BAY HAWK just continues to improve. Gerry Gracie continues to ride him out on the roads which Bay Hawk clearly loves.

Bay Hawk has certainly thrived during his time at The Recuperation Centre and is extremely laid back and relaxed. He looks superb and hopefully he will be back (scans permitting) in pre training within a few months.

Another fairly recent arrival COLLOQUIAL also continues to make good progress. Colloquial is only due to be at the centre for a few weeks where he will be monitred by Jo and her team before he returns back to Henry Candy's yard.

Colloquial has a lovely temperament and has proved to be an absolute delight to look after.
